The Eswatini Nazarene Health Institution (ENHI)
The Eswatini Nazarene Health Institution (ENHI) comprises the 350 bed Raleigh Fitkin Memorial Hospital located in the densely populated area of Manzini, and the eighteen (18) Nazarene Community Clinics operating in the four regions of Eswatini serving an aggregate poputation of 350,000 for RFM Hospital and 250 000 for all the clinics.

Vision, Goals, Mission and Values
Vision:	By 2020 ENHI will be providing high quality physical, spiritual, emotional, psycho-social care in a friendly environment through partnership with our patients, staff and other organizaions
Goals:	A realization of optimum health and disciples among individuals, groups, families and communities attended to by ENHI personnel.
Mission:	ENHI exists to provide high quality health care services to all people in an affordable, equitable and accessible manner, in line with Eswatini National Health Policy and within a Christian environment and commitment to the Great Commission adopted by Church of the Nazarene
Values:	ENHI Will be at all times guided by the following values towards both patients, clients and fellow colleagues: Compassion - We treat all those we serve with kindness embracing the whole person through responding to emotinal, spiritual and social concerns as well as physical needs. Integrity - We take personal responsibility for services we provide through honest, trust, value and moral driven principles and for the perceptions and experience of the patient, employees and the community. Respect - We are courteous and sensitive to others’ wishes and feelings and act without bias to those providing that care. Customer Centric - ENHI works to foster sound relationships and a culture that supports the overall health care and safely of patients, staff and the community.

RFM Hospital
RFM is a 350 bed regional referral and teaching hospital situated in Manzini, the hub of Eswatini. It occupies approximately 7,000 square metres in clinical buildings and 2,300 square metres in support buildings.

It was founded in 1926 by the Church of the Nazarene as an emergency intervention for health problems that were encountered at the time. It has expanded over the years, and now serves as a referral hospital for the Manzini region .

Given that Manzini city and the surrounding area is the most populous in Eswatini, the role the hospital plays in providing health care services is crucial. The hospital provides services to around 500 patients in the out patient department daily. In addition clients have access to HIV/AIDS mitigation programs including; PMTCT (Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission), VCT (Voluntary Counseling and Testing), ART (Anti-Retroviral Therapy and a supplementary food program sponsored by WFP (World Food Program).

RFM has the highest number of hospital deliveries in the country, with approximately one baby born every hour. It is noteworthy that the King of Eswatini, King Mswati III, was also born at the hospital.

Mission
The Raleigh Fitkin Memorial Hospital seeks to improve the health status of all men, women and children who require treatment. This will be achieved through the provision of high quality preventive, promotive, curative and rehabilitative care in line with the National Health Policy of the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare and the Mission of ENHI. RFM will strive to ensure that its services are affordable, equitable and administered with compassion for their client’s physical, mental and spiritual well-being.

Community Clinics
Eswatini Nazarene Health Institution has clinics, which emerged from the missionaries who came with a triangle approach treating patients, preaching the gospel and educating people. The first clinics that started rendering services at a small scale were Pigg’s Peak in 1933, Siteki in 1936 and Endzingeni in 1940. The services were rendered only to people that were staying around the Mission such as Missionaries, Pastors and Teachers. Later there was a felt need to extend the services to the Swazi Community outside the mission stations.

Mliba clinic was built out of stones and became the first rural clinic in 1943 to serve the community due to an outbreak of malaria. Presently there are seventeen clinics operating in the four regions of the country and one stand alone VCT clinic at Shewula clinic. This ENHI arm serves a total population of approximately 301,248 people within its catchment areas. The institution is guided by its vision that seeks to ensure that services offered are of high quality, accessible, affordable and equitable to all clients in the communities. Eswatini Nazarene Community Health Services endeavours to provide comprehensive and high quality, preventive, promotive, curative and rehabilitative vhealth services to individuals, families/groups and communities through utilisation of the

Primary Health Care (PHC) approach grounded in the philosophy of the Ministry of Health. The services rendered by the clinics form an integral part of the National Health Care System.

Goal
Nazarene Community Health Services overall goal is to provide quality promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative health care services to clients, families and the community. Community participation is encouraged for members to own their health.
