The Eswatini Nazarene Health Institutions (ENHI) is one of the Kingdom of Eswatini’s leading and most trusted healthcare providers, delivering quality, compassionate and accessible healthcare services across the nation.
ENHI comprises the 350-bed Raleigh Fitkin Memorial (RFM) Hospital in Manzini and twenty (20) Nazarene Community Health Clinics operating across all four regions of Eswatini.
Serving more than 600,000 people annually, ENHI plays a critical role in the country’s healthcare delivery system, reaching an estimated 40-50% of the national population through hospital and community-based healthcare services.
Established in 1926 by the Church of the Nazarene, RFM Hospital has grown into a modern referral and teaching hospital recognised for excellence in patient care, maternal and child health, surgical services, emergency care, and HIV/AIDS treatment programmes. We offer a wide range of key healthcare and specialised medical services, including Eye Clinic Services, Cytology Services, Dental Services, Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Orthopaedics, General Surgery and Anaesthesiology, Internal Medicine, Intensive Care Services, Paediatrics, ART/HIV Care and Treatment, 24-Hour Emergency Care, a One-Stop Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Centre, Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) Clinic Services, as well as Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Services.
RFM Hospital records the highest number of hospital deliveries in Eswatini, with approximately one baby born every hour. The hospital holds a unique legacy in the history of the Kingdom of Eswatini, with His Majesty King Mswati III having been born at RFM Hospital – a reflection of the institution’s long-standing and trusted role in the nation’s healthcare journey.

Raleigh Fitkin Memorial (RFM) Hospital was established by the Church of the Nazarene to address healthcare needs in the Kingdom of Eswatini.
1933
The first Nazarene community clinic was established in Pigg’s Peak.
1936
Expansion of community healthcare services to Siteki.
1940
Further outreach through the establishment of services in Endzingeni.
1968
His Majesty King Mswati III was born at RFM Hospital (19 April), a historic milestone that remains a source of immense pride for ENHI and an enduring part of our rich heritage.
2000s-Present
